Blog Post Title One
“Peephole of Entrapment”
As humanity's imprisonment was near complete, we displayed a profound yearning for the outside. Then ‘they devised a curio to take advantage of this yearning and feed our distrust. Human must be one with their cage, we must sprout eye on the door; that we and our cages may peek out at who passes and who comes.
In Hong Kong, you walk down narrow hallways, passing familiar faces but never stopping. The doors are always closed and the sounds of footsteps echo in the tight corriders, often having 20+ apartments on a single floor. You catch a glimpse of a neighbor through a peephole, but it’s always just a fleeting moment. Everyone’s in a rush, heads down, phones in hand, always moving at full speed. You might wonder about the person who lives next door, but life is too fast to ask. In this city, where time is scarce, we’ve all become strangers, each too busy to notice the lives just a few feet away.
